Salary: Up to £30,000

Are you a passionate Level 3 Nursery Practitioner looking for your next opportunity in Early Years?

 

Our client is looking a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their supportive nursery team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Nurse, who is committed to delivering outstanding care and education for children aged 0–5 years.

 

Working within a nurturing and engaging environment, you'll play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing while helping them build the confidence and skills they need for the future.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (full and relevant)essential
  • Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring, patient, and child-centred approach
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Desirable

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Experience supporting children with SEND
  • Knowledge of early intervention services

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development
  • Act as a Key Person, building positive relationships with children and families
  • Observe, assess, and monitor children's progress
  • Support school readiness and positive developmental outcomes
  • Promote inclusion, equality, and individual learning opportunities
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and stimulating environment
  • Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns appropriately
  • Support risk assessments and health & safety practices
  • Ensure nursery policies and procedures are consistently followed
  • Support and mentor colleagues, apprentices, and students
  • Assist with room organisation and daily routines
  • Support senior staff with the smooth running of the nursery
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Share children's progress and developmental achievements
  • Support families in extending learning opportunities at home
