Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager – Up to £35,000

As the Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager, you’ll work closely with the Registered Manager to oversee care delivery, supervise staff, and maintain high standards in line with CQC expectations. This hands-on leadership role offers real scope for professional development and impact.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care (essential)
  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role within domiciliary/home care (essential)
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A proactive, inclusive, and person-focused management approach

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service
  • Lead, support, and mentor care staff to deliver safe, person-centred care
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and CQC regulations
  • Support with rota management, recruitment, training, and performance reviews
  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, families, and external partners
  • Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and service development
  • Take on management responsibilities in the absence of the Registered Manager
