Our client, a well-respected and person-centred neurorehabilitation service, is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting individuals living with acquired brain injuries.

This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced SLT who thrives on autonomy, values collaborative working, and is passionate about empowering people to reclaim their communication and swallowing abilities in a nurturing and specialist environment.

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering life-changing therapy to residents facing complex communication and swallowing challenges following brain injury. You’ll work independently to assess, plan and deliver tailored interventions, problem-solve collaboratively with residents and their support networks, and offer expert training to care teams.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Dysphagia competencies (assessment and management)
  • Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience in managing complex clinical cases, ideally in neurorehabilitation or a similar setting
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamworking skills
  • A compassionate and resilient approach to supporting individuals with brain injuries

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary: £46,000–£52,000
  • Life assurance and company pension scheme
  • Health plan and dedicated wellbeing support
  • Training, development and career progression opportunities
  • Long service awards recognising your commitment

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed assessments and deliver person-centred interventions
  • Manage a caseload of residents with a wide range of speech, language, and swallowing needs
  • Work closely with families, carers and staff to support holistic recovery and communication goals
  • Provide training and guidance to care teams to support consistent approaches
  • Contribute to MDT meetings and service development initiatives
  • Promote best practices in communication and dysphagia management
